Established in 1991, PHAM & ASOCIATES was one of the oldest intellectual law firms in Vietnam, making its debut in society in the period that the country started the process of innovation to shift to an open market economy.

Five years later, PHAM & ASSOCIATES ha developed into one of largest law firms with well established reputation both in Vietnam and abroad in IP including Patents, Trademarks, Industrial Designs, Technology transfer and Copyright. Beside its head office located in Ha Noi, the firm expanded   with the opening of a branch office in Ho Chi Minh city (1995), in Da Nang (2001) and in Hai Phong (2002), attracting a number of well-qualified and dynamic lawyers and technical experts into the firm to practice.

With the promulgation of the Ordinance on Lawyers on August 8, 2001 PHAM & ASSOCIATES officially registered in November 2002 to transform its operation from a limited liability company into a law office in accordance with the Ordinance on Lawyers. After this transformation, in order to meet increasing demands of clients on providing comprehensive legal advice on matters they were facing in their business, PHAM & ASSOCIATES has broadened its legal consultation services in other areas of law such as investment, company incorporation, commercial law, labour law, insurance etc.
