THE EVOLUTION OF BICYCLES AND THE INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
A bicycle - illustrative picture
Many people consider the bicycle the major invention in the World. Then, in some ways there´re causes to this, because the same allow the persons make exercises and simultaneously to running in a velocity reasonably fast, doing well to human body, avoiding the pollution through gases and liberating of big traffic jam, creating a free area to gardens and trees. Automobiles and motorcycles are ways of transport that should be used to carry big cargo and only to traveling, making the driver safer.

According  the publication DW-WORLD.DE (access www.dw-world.de) on January 04, 2010 two in each ten inhabitants from Bonn City (Germany) use the bike as the main way of transport and the bicycle is the principal way of transporting of 9% of germans. In all Germany territory about 78 millions circulate, one time and half the quantity of cars from the country, meanwhile the three first that produce bikes in the World are: 1º China, 2º India, 3º Brazil (www.revistaaluminio.com.br).

The bicycle developed much during the years, before it was done of carbon-steel, after passed to assembling with scandium (aluminium more scandium compound developed by NASA – is lighter than a bike of carbon-steel), becoming lighter and resistant, becoming more ecologically correct. Nowadays there´re bicycles so light and fast that can reach incredible velocities as a bike considered in 2008 year the most fast in the World, in this case Sam Whittingham pedaled the Varna Diablo III in 132 KM/H or 82.33 mph (see in www.youtube.com), using only the human propulsion united to the technology. Therefore one travel can be planned considering the speed that reaches a bicycle. The registration of innovations from bikes can help us to have faster, cheap and ecological transports, helping to preserve our Planet.
